21204 Goes Green

Picture121204 Goes Green

This year, my boyfriend and I will be participating in two very special events called the Breast Cancer 3-Day.

We will walk 60 miles over the course of three days (two times) with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through Susan G.
Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

We’ve agreed to raise at least $9,200 in donations. We’ve set our personal goal at $10,000. So we’re putting our fundraising hats on and have partnered with zipgoesgreen.com to kick off our efforts. ZipGoesGreen features unique products that can’t be fiound anywhere else. Items like SIGG reusable water bottles and recycled cotton reusable grocery bags are imprinted with 21204 and the accompanying “goes green” tagline. When someone makes a purchase through http://www.zipgoesgreen.com/21204thebreastcancer3-day/ 25% of the sale will be given to us in commission, which we will in turn put towards our walk. When you go to the site, click on “Buy 21204 Goods” to see what the products will look like.

For more information about our walk and the Breast Cancer 3-Day, or to donate to our efforts, please go to:

https://akstout18.wordpress.com and/or you can follow our journey on twitter – http://twitter.com/akstout18.

According to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, approximately 200,000 American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and nearly 40,000 will die from the disease. That’s why we’re walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. We hope that you’ll share this incredible adventure with us – by supporting us in our
fundraising efforts.
